Help for fat loss can be hard to find. Some experts claim you can only lose
weight but not specifically lose fat. Others say that you can eat the right fat
burning foods to help you achieve your goals. But who is right?
Losing
fat is not easy task. But there is help. Here are some tips to get you started
and get rid of belly flab, arm flab and get healthier and fit.
The first
tip is to make changes slowly. It is very difficult to lose fat. In fact, it is
possible to lose a lot of weight, but most of that weight loss is muscle instead
of the unsightly fat.
The only way to deal with this is to learn how to
incorporate healthy changes slowly and make them part of your lifestyle. You can
more easily replace unhealthy habits with healthy ones. As you do, you start to
realize what makes you feel better and so you will be more inclined to do what
is good for your body.
Tip two is to incorporate exercise, but not too
much if you are not used to exercise. For example, if you are not used to
exercising, then you join a gym for an hour workout, it might become
detrimental.
Packing for the gym, making the drive, finding time around
work may too easily become a burden. This will give you an easy excuse to not do
it.
Instead, start with small increments of exercise at home. There are
plenty of DVD's for the busy person using 10 to 20 minutes routines. If you are
not feeling into working out on a particular day, then 10 minutes is much easier
to deal with. In fact, it will be over with before you know it!
Start
eating more fruits and vegetables. Don't worry about the dressings or any of
that for now. Just start eating more fresh produce. These stimulate metabolism
and more. For example, if you start a meal with a fresh salad, you may become
satiated quicker. Since you have been chewing longer you have time for your
brain to register that it is full. And you've done this with a healthier
food.
Don't worry about the dressings yet because for now you are only
trying to establish eating healthier foods. As you get used to these, even start
craving them, you will naturally incorporate more of these foods into your diet.
Then you can start using healthier dressings.
Tip three is important for
your diet, too; drink the right drinks. This means putting the unhealthy, diet
sodas aside and drinking more fresh water for starters. Dont' drink too much
with your meal, but in between meals to help flush waste.
Also drink
healthier drinks that are known to flush the fat. A major one is green tea.
Drink real, green tea without the high fructose cornsyrup. Studies show that
dieters who incorporate this into their daily habits lose more belly fat than
those who don't.
Other drinks that help flush fat are water with lemon
juice or lemon oil in it, warm water with honey and apple cider vinegar and 100
percent cranberry juice. Each of these can help flush fat, waste and even help
suppress your appetite.
